Job Title: Senior 3PL Operations Representative

CHEP is a global leader in the supply chain industry, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior 3PL Operations Representative to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of third-party service centers and TPMs (Third-Party Manufacturers) within our designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement training programs for operations representatives to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures across the third-party network.
  • Manage and consult operations for 15-25 third-party-led sites, ensuring alignment with company objectives and contractual agreements.
  • Develop and foster professional relationships with third-party providers, collaborating with site leaders to address operational challenges and implement improvements.
  • Leverage operational data and systems to evaluate site performance and health, identifying opportunities for safety improvements and additional investments to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Initiate and track initiatives for designated territories, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Utilize data to make informed decisions around strategies for KPI improvements.
  • Identify cost-savings opportunities and develop action plans to meet annual cost-savings goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional project teams and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, both internal and external.
  • Experience in developing and implementing continuous improvement and/or cost savings projects.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and at times on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
