Job Title: Support Professional

The Arc Eastern Connecticut is seeking a Support Professional to join our team. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training, support, and assistance to participants in areas such as personal care, recreation, and daily living skills.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and monitoring of individualized support plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications to participants as ordered by physicians.
  • Complete required documentation, including program data, incident reports, and health records.
  • Ensure participants' health and safety, including prevention of abuse and performance of CPR and first aid.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with people with developmental and physical disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to mentor and assist individuals in all areas of life skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic computer aptitude and ability to speak/write in English.
