Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Consultant to join our team at Aditi Consulting. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients and ensuring that their issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective solutions to technical issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
  • Case Management: Log and track all support requests in our ticketing system, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation.
  • Communication: Guide users through step-by-step solutions or escalate issues as needed, providing clear and concise communication throughout the process.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues, using your expertise to find creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with vendors and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve our support processes.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Office 365, SharePoint, and Virtual Desktop (VDI) experience, with Azure VDI experience preferred.
  • Support Experience: User/group administration experience and comfort working an on-call rotation.
  • Software Skills: Experience using a ticketing system such as Jira or ServiceNow, and remote control tools.
  • Operating System Knowledge: Experience supporting users remotely over the phone and providing in-person support, with expertise in Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Management Tools: Experience with SCCM or Microsoft Intune or JAMF management.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Additional Skills
  • UNIX/Linux Experience: Some exposure to UNIX/Linux command line.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL processes.
