The Creators organization at Amazon is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join the Creator Recommendations team, a core engineering team responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences globally.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing key features that solve complex software problems for our publishers, spanning multiple areas of Amazon's advertising ecosystem.

You will work closely with other software engineers, product managers, and applied scientists to deploy and operate high-quality, scalable products globally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing key features that solve complex software problems for our publishers
  • Solving complex technical problems with simple solutions wherever possible
  • Demonstrating knowledge and use of coding and testing best practices
  • Influencing the team's technical direction and maintaining a high-quality bar
  • Effectively communicating technical and non-technical ideas to diverse audiences
  • Cultivating relationships with partner teams

Basic qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, with a base pay range of $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on the position offered.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
