We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at Treehouse Partners.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that involves managing and growing a portfolio of SMB clients, proactively identifying new business opportunities, and closing incoming leads. You will be responsible for serving as the main point of contact for new and existing business accounts, helping customers navigate the sales process, and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing business accounts, providing exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, growing both new accounts and existing portfolios through proactive prospecting and outreach efforts.
  • Leverage company offerings to increase awareness for printing and custom packaging solutions among SMB clients.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in CRM systems, using customer insights and data analysis to inform strategies for improving customer retention and maximizing long-term relationships.
  • Keep sales pipelines up to date and forecast future sales opportunities with accuracy, regularly identifying ways to enhance customer experience and share innovative ideas with the team.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the sales team by driving new business and fostering long-term client relationships.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of account management/sales experience, preferably in B2B sales, print, or packaging industries.
  • PASSION FOR DELIVERING EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUILDING STRONG, LONG-LASTING RELATIONSHIPS.
  • Familiarity with a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experienced in proactive prospecting and outreach, with a knack for uncovering customer needs and creating tailored solutions.
  • Results-driven, with a proven ability to hit sales targets and manage a growing portfolio of accounts.
  • Comfortable with cross-selling and upselling, driving additional business from existing clients.
  • Proficient in managing and forecasting a sales pipeline with accuracy.
  • Well-organized, able to juggle multiple tasks, and always responsive with a sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid/remote environment and able to work independently while staying connected to a collaborative team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with clients.
  • A problem solver who enjoys tackling challenges and finding creative solutions for clients.
  • Experienced with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and familiar with using analytics to predict customer behavior and improve retention.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $105,000, depending on experience, with potential commissions bringing the total compensation to around $120,000 - $140,000.
