We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis in Hartford, Wisconsin.

About the Job

This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular, and cardiac procedures/studies, accurately differentiating between normal and pathologic findings.

  • Competent in all general and/or vascular sonographic procedures routinely performed in the hiring department
  • Able to use independent judgment to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings

You will also be responsible for reviewing patient medical records, obtaining necessary clinical information, and comparing requisitions to physician orders to ensure exam accuracy. Additionally, you will maintain records in accordance with various regulatory agencies and enter patient and study information into the radiology information system.

Requirements
  • Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Sonography
  • No experience required
  • Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS) needs to be obtained within 3 months unless department leader has determined it is not required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months
