Deli Host

We are seeking a highly skilled Deli Host to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Deli Host, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and stocked deli area, and assisting with various tasks related to food preparation and sales.

• Provide top-notch customer service by answering questions, addressing needs, and ensuring a positive experience for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including the coffee and fountain bars, to ensure a welcoming environment for customers.
• Prepare deli products according to designated guides, including salads, sandwiches, and wraps, to meet customer demand.
• Use company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Cross-train in other departments, such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles, to expand your skillset and contribute to the success of the team.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to:

• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in food preparation and handling.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to resolve issues and provide excellent service.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds, and work in various temperatures.
