Job Overview
Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes. As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for addressing service needs on a limited supervised basis.
About the Role
This is an intermediate-level position that involves operating common tooling, documenting repairs, and performing advanced troubleshooting tasks related to pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. You will work closely with the maintenance team to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks and make repairs as needed, working independently with minimal supervision;
Demonstrate expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic components;
Work effectively with various equipment, including boilers, welders, extruders, machine shop tools, and control systems;
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient work environment;
Document all activities, repairs, and maintenance performed, including creating detailed records and explanations;
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization efforts;
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Education
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
Skills and Qualifications
- Possess advanced technical skills, including mechanical and electrical abilities, as well as knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics;
- Be proficient in welding, project management, problem-solving, and teamwork;
- Ability to follow safety protocols and adhere to company guidelines;
- Have excellent communication and documentation skills.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
