Dishroom Assistant

About the Role:

Pacifica Senior Living Vista is seeking a skilled Dishroom Assistant to join our team.

As a Dishroom Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will ensure that our residents receive exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and sort kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand.
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment in designated areas.
• Set up workstations before meal preparation begins.
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock and place orders when necessary.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed.
• Time management skills.
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends, and evenings.
• High school diploma is a plus.
