The Support Professional will be responsible for providing essential support to students in the after school program, ensuring a positive and safe environment.

Job Overview:

Pike School is seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Support Professional for the after school program. This position involves supporting students from PK-9th grade with supervision, activities, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing active supervision to ensure student safety and well-being
  • SUPPORTING Afterschool staff in managing daily activities and events
  • Assisting with snack distribution, recreation, and study hall activities
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide a positive learning environment
  • Maintaining confidentiality of student and community information
  • Communicating effectively with children and adults

Requirements:

  • Adult (18+) with documented experience working with school-age children
  • Ability to work on their feet and outdoors for long periods
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and Documents
  • Willingness to learn registration software
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
