Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at Cape Fear Family Medical Care, a division of the Raleigh-Durham Medical Group (RDMG). This role will provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of medical terminology.

ResponsibilitiesThis position involves a range of tasks, including:
- Representing patients as part of their medical home team.
- Maintaining accurate records through electronic charting.
- Protecting patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies.
- Performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Training from an accredited program and certification/registration with the state of North Carolina.
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, phlebotomy techniques, and administering injections.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
