Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) Overview

RCEB is one of 21 Regional Centers that are community-based, private non-profit corporations under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services. Our mission is to provide support and services for individuals with developmental disabilities in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic interpretation of available data, conducting evaluations, and developing individual program plans. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic interpretation of available data
  • Conduct evaluations and make recommendations on 1370.1 referrals
  • Develop and implement individual program plans
  • Consult with clients, families, and community regarding appropriate programs
  • Act as an advocate for individual clients and their families

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have a doctoral degree in psychology and one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. You should also be licensed as a Psychologist by the California Board of Psychology and have valid driver's license. Additionally, you must demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity, as well as the ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations.
