Job Summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to develop and manage established and new customers by selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals. The primary areas of responsibility include:

  • Fostering customer relationships in a team-based selling model
  • Managing deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department and troubleshooting any problems that occur during the order process
  • Communicating and collecting accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client
  • Developing new business by identifying prospective customers and leveraging other resources to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening
  • Providing value-added services to customers, including sharing market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry, and excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.

This role will receive incentive compensation and benefits, including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
