We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Surgical Technologist to join our team in Wellesley, Massachusetts. The estimated salary for this position is $$64,350 per year, based on industry standards and the location.

Job Description

As an Outpatient Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing procedure cards and surgeon preference cards to determine needs in preparation for each surgical procedure.
• Assisting and collaborating with the circulating nurse to set up for surgical procedures with proper instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
• Providing intraoperative care to the surgical patient, including passing instruments and retracting for the surgeon at the sterile field as directed.
• Anticipating the needs of the surgical team during the procedure and providing them with proper instruments, equipment, and supplies to meet these needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

• A graduate degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• ST certification in accordance with Massachusetts State Law.
