Job Description

Hampstead Pre-Owned is seeking a dedicated Subprime Finance Manager to join our team and help customers with credit challenges secure financing for vehicle purchases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subprime auto financing, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of closing deals.

  • Assist customers in purchasing vehicles
  • Acquire approvals from subprime lenders
  • Maintain relationships with subprime banks and representatives
  • Adhere to all banking and automotive regulations
  • Submit paperwork for funding
  • Optimize financial performance
  • Structure and present financing deals to customers
  • Negotiate finance terms to achieve the best possible outcomes for both the customer and the dealership
  • Communicate with customers about their financing options before, during, and after the sale

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of subprime lending processes, credit scoring, and automotive financing options
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with a customer-centric financing approach
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems and financial software
  • Detailed knowledge of all relevant state and local automotive finance laws and regulations
  • Prior experience with subprime financing at a dealership
  • Able to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently (preferred)
