Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Richmond University Medical Center. As a Nurse Specialist in the NICU/Peds department, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with all other disciplines on assigned unit to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.

Requirements:

  • Current registration in New York State as an RN.
  • Diploma and Licensure required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • 2 years NICU/Peds experience preferred.
  • BSN required.
  • Current BLS required.
  • NRP, and PALS certification preferred or to be successfully completed during orientation.
  • APHON certificate preferred or to be successfully completed within 1st year.
  • PCAR or TCAR certificate preferred or to be successfully completed within 6 months.
