At the Alma Advisory Group, we seek two exceptional school leaders to spearhead the academic journey of students at The Bayard School and Maurice Pritchett Sr. Academy in Wilmington, Delaware.

As Principal/School Leader, you will be responsible for driving educational excellence, fostering a culture of collaboration, and building strong relationships with the community. Your vision and leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of these schools and empowering students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic Leadership: Set clear goals, develop innovative strategies, and drive student achievement through evidence-based practices.
  • Team Management: Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team of educators, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to deliver exceptional instruction.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, healthcare entities, and stakeholders to create a supportive environment for student growth.
  • Decision Making: Analyze complex data, exercise judgment, and make informed decisions that prioritize student-centered outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a diverse urban setting, with principal experience preferred.
  • Education: An advanced degree in education with a concentration in one or more areas of specialization.
  • Skills: Deep knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and school operations, with a proven ability to navigate uncertainty and ambiguity.

This is a competitive salary position, ranging from $130,000 to $150,000, commensurate with prior experience. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package and up to a $15,000 stipend will be provided upon successful completion of one year in the role.
