Special Educator- Early Intervention

    TheraCare of New York is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educator to join our team. This role involves working with children up to 3 years old who require support with developmental delays in various settings.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced educator to provide screening and therapy services to children with developmental delays, utilizing a collaborative approach that incorporates family involvement and community resources. As a Special Educator at TheraCare, you will be part of a dynamic team committed to maximizing each child's potential.

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families. We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including competitive salary ($70,000 - $90,000 annually), benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement), and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Your success as a Special Educator will be measured by your ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless coordination of care and advocacy for the needs of children. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans that address the unique needs of each child.

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with professionals from various disciplines. A NYS Permanent Certification in Special Education, TSHH, or related field is required. Travel to various settings may be necessary for service provision.
