Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Communications Specialist with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and time-management skills, as well as a curious, proactive, and high-achieving attitude. They will support partners and directors on client teams and contribute to internal firm projects.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of reporters, policy experts, and policymakers relevant to clients' issue areas. They will draft explanatory materials on complex policy issues and write concise memos that summarize research, detail a policy landscape, and highlight key findings. Additionally, they will assist with executing events, including press conferences, speaking engagements, editorial board meetings, and media trainings.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science/Government, Business, Finance, Journalism, or a related field. They should have experience with drafting communications products for a variety of audiences at a communications agency, publicly traded company, media outlet, a federal agency, or on the Hill. Expertise and interest in a specific policy field, broader business and economics trends, politics, and the legislative process are also essential.
