Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist II to join our team at the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality mental health services to patients, including psycho-educational groups, milieu management, and behavior modification strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and clinical judgment based on unit population and age-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with primary nurses to manage patient needs and support services for effective completion of daily routines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or four (4) years of experience in a related field.
  • AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period.
  • Act 31 training completion required within 45 days of hire.
