Job Summary

As a Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist at TEKsystems, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of medical staff and allied health professional files. This includes verifying primary source credentialing documentation, analyzing information collected, and presenting it to medical staff leadership. You will also be responsible for coordinating the processing of applications, tracking responses, and following up on items not received within established time frames. Additionally, you will maintain the credentialing software database, submit completed files to MSO offices and delegated entities, and communicate with internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities

* Verify primary source credentialing documentation to ensure medical staff and allied health professional files are current and policies and procedures have been followed
* Coordinate the processing of applications and track responses
* Maintain the credentialing software database and submit completed files to MSO offices and delegated entities
* Communicate with internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner

Requirements

* 2+ years of experience in medical staff credentialing
* Proficiency with MDStaff Credentialing Software
* End-to-end provider credentialing experience (MDs & DOs)
