Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Group Lead for our 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of machinists on the 2nd shift, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production targets
  • Coordinate with other shift leads and management to ensure seamless transition and communication across shifts
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards, ensuring all products meet company specifications and customer requirements
  • Train and mentor team members, promoting skill development and adherence to safety protocols
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team, maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or leadership training is a plus
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools is preferred
