Polysomnography Specialist

At Baylor Scott & White Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnographer to join our team in College Station, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with us and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Polysomnographer who can perform polysomnographic studies in a clinical setting, including oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure titrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of polsomnographic care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications. They will be responsible for scoring studies, formulating reports for physician interpretation, and documenting all pertinent patient events according to department policy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform polysomnographic studies, including oxygen and nasal continuous positive airway pressure titrations
• Score studies and formulate reports for physician interpretation
• Document all pertinent patient events according to department policy
• Communicate instructions, results, and relative information to patients, physicians, and family members
• Calibrate and perform routine maintenance on equipment, contacting manufacturers for repairs as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Less than 1 year of experience in a related field
