Telecare North Sound Evaluation and Treatment (E&T) is a 16-bed facility for adults aged 18+, who are experiencing a mental health emergency.

The Peer Recovery Coach provides consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS).

The Recovery Culture is characterized by recognizing, understanding, respecting, and integrating the member's point of view and preferences into services and self-help programming.

The Peer Recovery Coach will also respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills, supporting a least restrictive environment for members served experiencing an emergency related to a mental health/addiction challenge.

Responsibilities:

  • Support members served with behavioral health challenges
  • Develop and implement recovery plans
  • Provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture
  • Respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills

Requirements:

  • One (1) year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges
  • Certified Peer Specialist and/or completed Peer Support Training
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
