Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and courteous Seasonal Driver to transport workers/kettles to specific locations as needed for Christmas kettles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering monies back to The Middletown Corps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Corps vehicles and deliver bell ringers to their assigned sites, picking them up at the end of their shift.
  • Be friendly and courteous to the public and bell ringers, providing excellent customer service.
  • Inform the Corps Officer and Kettle Coordinator of any problems, issues, or complaints.
  • Address any concerns or issues with the Kettle Coordinator or Corps Officer in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collect kettles at the end of the shift and deliver them as directed.
  • Understand and embrace The Salvation Army's mission statement, with a full understanding of the purpose and direction The Salvation Army plays within the community.
  • Assist with the Christmas Cheer program as needed, including pick-ups.
  • May be required to work split shifts as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as designated by the Corps Officer to support the continued development of the Middletown Corps.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License (CDL is a plus).
  • Punctuality and conscientiousness are essential.
  • Good people skills and ability to follow directions.

Estimated Salary

$25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
