The Purchasing Coordinator is a vital position within our organization, responsible for facilitating efficient purchasing processes across multiple departments. This role ensures the seamless and timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services, supporting the operations team in meeting their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process daily purchase requests from field and corporate teams, ensuring timely ordering of materials, rentals, and maintenance services.
  • Generate and manage Purchase Orders (POs) using NetSuite, focusing on accurate and prompt delivery of goods and services.
  • Communicate shipment statuses and delivery timelines to the field operations team, informing them of potential delays.
  • Collect receipts from the field, verify, and process purchase orders through NetSuite for accurate inventory and documentation.
  • Oversee documentation for the rental process, ensuring all details are entered, collected, and filed appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An AA or AS degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in purchasing or fleet management is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs and experience with NetSuite are bonuses.
  • A proactive desire to learn new systems and continually improve efficiency.
