Overview

Job Summary:

Akima is seeking a Resource Manager to support the Satellite Control Network Operations, Remote Site and Mission Partner Support (STORMS) contract at New Boston Space Force Station, NH. As a Resource Manager, you will be responsible for overall tracking of resources and funding for New Boston Space Force Station. This exempt position requires constant communication with Military and government personnel as well as contract management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the government's financial plans and manage the financial operations of the site.
  • Maintain accounting and funds control in coordination with the 21st Space Force Operations Squadron (SOPS/RA).
  • Formulate budget recommendations and financial plans, and provide financial reports as directed by the government.
  • Maintain project funds and organization cost center record data.
  • Prepare outgoing funding document requests.
  • Maintain miscellaneous obligation reimbursement documents and funding site authorizations.
  • Coordinate with local Financial Management (FM), Accounting Liaison Office (ALO), Functional Organizations, Contracting and 21 SOPS/RA on funding issues.
  • Enter all required funding documents in the Automated Business Services System (ABSS) for government review and action.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • High school diploma with at least five (5) years of relevant experience in finance or accounting fields.
  • Demonstrated training and management skills.
  • Background in finance and with analytical skill to determine corrective action to take to accomplish fix actions.
  • Demonstrate good customer service skills working with military personnel.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and apply regulatory requirements applicable to the project scope of work.
  • Demonstrate time management skills to achieve personal, team, project, and corporate objectives as related to quality assurance.
