At Axon Enterprise Inc, we're committed to Protect Life and are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Manager to join our Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the global fixed asset process and reporting, collaborating across capabilities to build efficient and sustainable accounting processes that facilitate strong internal financial controls and support business growth.
You will work closely with senior finance leaders and various cross-functional team leaders on all facets of fixed assets and lease accounting, analyzing investments to determine proper accounting treatment in accordance with capitalization policy as well as ASC 842. Your expertise will be essential in applying internal policies to investment requests and supporting continued updates to policies to support business growth and expansion.
Key responsibilities include preparing and recording journal entries in GL systems, monthly account fluctuation analysis and reconciliations supporting our SEC footnote preparation, identifying, presenting, and implementing solutions for process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhanced area reporting capabilities. You will also manage data integrity and preparation of financial information to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility.
Foster communication and teamwork within and across organizational boundaries, monitor and execute internal control procedures to ensure that company assets are adequately protected, and support budgeting process and actual to forecast variance analysis.
Requirements include a BS or equivalent in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of relevant experience, and a CPA certification. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and Lease accounting software is also required. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Alteryx, and RPA tools is a plus.

Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 96,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 144,000 in the highest geographic market.
