**Job Summary**

The Kenwood View Health & Rehab Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by providing exceptional food service and support.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the cook in the preparation, service, and clean-up of meals served to patients and staff, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Prepare and label nourishments according to center procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and portion desserts, salads, and other non-entrée foods into dishes, and pour beverages as needed.
  • Follow production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.

**Requirements**

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read and understand English for business purposes.
  • Basic understanding of sanitation, organization, and safety principles, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Prior experience in food service is preferred, with a strong desire to work in a long-term care setting.
