We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer to develop and implement CAD tools for FPGA hardware at the University of Southern California.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, and strong software development and hardware design experience.

Key responsibilities include creating EDA tools for trusted and assured computing, developing automated hardware testing, and analyzing FPGA device health.

Salary Range: $132,700 - $150,000 per annum

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert-level use of Xilinx, Intel, or Lattice FPGA implementation tools
  • Experience with open-source EDA tools and Machine Learning applications to hardware systems
  • PhD or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
