About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineer Senior to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical field support for company products, resolving maintenance and operational issues in the field, and performing troubleshooting procedures.

About the Role

  • Provide technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, and/or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems.
  • Promote and provide company products or services in various locations, acting as a liaison between the organization and customers to increase brand loyalty.
  • Maintain a productive working relationship with direct and indirect customers while protecting business interests, assist with customer needs, and strive to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Maximize customer satisfaction by following strict company and industry privacy regulations, creating effective technical reports, and presenting to customers regularly.
  • Cultivate new commercial relationships and develop strong partnerships with vendors, reporting to the service manager in their department.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive to Border Patrol Surveillance towers located along the southern Texas border daily to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Required experience: 5+ years of related experience, including previous work in information technology, network operation, or security operation centers.
  • Experience with Microwave systems and Video surveillance systems is a plus.
  • Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust BI required.
  • Location: Remote work, must be local to Laredo, Texas area.
  • US Citizenship Required.
