Job Summary:

As a Stock Picker at Fisher Auto Parts, you will be responsible for ensuring all stock orders are picked in both an accurate and timely manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate an RF scanner to pick stock orders
  • Maintain clean aisle ways and clear workspace of debris
  • Prepare orders with an attention to detail
  • Check and restock merchandise & inventory, inspect for damage, and verify counts rates on a consistent basis
  • Responsible for maintaining familiarity and knowledge of company product line locations and priorities regarding outgoing orders

Requirements:
  • Ability to use carts and/or stock chasers to pick orders as needed
  • Complete appropriate pre-trip/post-trip inspection and maintenance paperwork
  • Able to perform tasks accurately
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and customer service driven attitude
  • Able to stay organized and on task
  • Able to use scanners in conjunction with the picking process
  • Meet and maintain accuracy and production goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse population and workforce both individually and as part of a team
  • Comply with federal, state, local, OSHA, and company policies, procedures, and regulations

Working Conditions:
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, squat, and stoop
  • Also required to climb, push/pull, balance, crouch or crawl, talk, speak, and hear
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Physical Demands:
  • May be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and/or vehicles, high/precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, various degrees of cold and heat, risk of electrical shock, items of bulky or varying weight, risk of explosion, and/or vibration

Work Environment:
  • Noise level may be moderate to heavy
