We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team in Southfield, MI. As a key member of our Law Department, you will play a vital role in protecting the interests of State Farm and its policyholders.

This is a hybrid role, requiring a mix of office and virtual work arrangements. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex civil litigation matters, including No Fault/PIP, Bodily Injury, and Premises Liability cases. Your exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, rules of evidence, and trial strategy will be invaluable in advancing our clients' interests.

As an Insurance Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience, you will possess strong interpersonal skills, superior oral advocacy and writing skills, and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks. Our team-oriented and professional work environment, combined with skilled support staff, will provide you with the ideal setting to excel in your career.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school, an active license to practice law in Michigan, and membership in good standing with the state bar. Experience handling jury trials and working in a paperless environment are significant assets. Additionally, you must be eligible to work in the U.S. immediately, as we do not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunities.

Our compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus opportunities for bonuses and professional development.
