About the Role

The DMIT program is designed to prepare candidates for leadership roles by teaching operational and strategic aspects of managing multiple retail locations within an assigned district. As a DMIT, you will learn how to drive operational excellence, foster a positive work environment, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will work closely with General Managers to ensure team members are properly trained and developed through required programs. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily store functions, including inventory management, merchandising, staffing, and customer service. You will also assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing store managers and staff to foster a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undergo comprehensive training on all aspects of store operations, leadership, and business management
  • Learn and oversee daily store functions to ensure operational excellence
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing store managers and staff
  • Monitor store performance metrics and provide insights for improvement
  • Ensure all stores adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field. Alternatively, you may have equivalent experience in retail management, preferably in a multi-store environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment is required, as well as a willingness to relocate or travel within the district as needed. Experience with managing store operations, merchandising, and inventory management is preferred, as is familiarity with P&L analysis and financial management.

An estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience. The position requires relocation to Texas, and we offer support for housing and other relocation expenses.
