Project Delivery Role Overview

Ausenco, a global leader in consulting and project delivery, seeks a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Perth team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering mechanical technical solutions in accordance with project scope, time-frames and best practice standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement mechanical technical solutions
  • Prepare technical reports related to design
  • Develop a thorough understanding of project requirements
  • Develop mechanical work plan for inclusion in project-specific execution plan
  • Manage and review Engineering Work Packages (EWP) associated with all deliverables and time-based functions
  • Review and approve mechanical technical deliverables
  • Assist in preparation and development of project-specific procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical EngineeringExtensive experience in detailed design of mineral processing plantsProven success in EPCM environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated leadership and client liaison skillsStrong deliverable focus and ability to plan workExcellent understanding and belief in safety principles, standards and legislationPrior experience with copper, gold, nickel or base metals is highly advantageous
