NP Inpatient Oncology Solid Tumor Specialist

Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Inpatient Oncology team, caring for patients with Solid Tumors.
We prioritize teamwork and sustainable work-life balance, with a team of APPs collaborating daily and a dedication to minimizing burnout. Our full-time APPs work 3 days per week, with self-scheduling managed by the team, strictly voluntary overtime, and equitable sharing of off-shifts supported by a nocturnist program. Patient to provider ratios are optimized for the best patient outcomes and provider experience.

Enjoy a dynamic career managing critically ill patients with autonomy and support. Collaborate with research teams to elevate first-in-human therapies to standard of care. Our solid tumor floor cares for patients with severe immunotherapy complications.
Responsibilities include participating in daily inter-disciplinary rounds, collaboratively developing and implementing care plans, coordinating tests and consultations, communicating with referring clinicians and consults, performing patient education, and preparing patients for discharge.

Minimum 2 years of prior experience in an acute care/inpatient environment, with medicine, ICU, or oncology experience highly desirable. Master's degree in nursing, national certification in advanced practice nursing, or master's degree in physician associate studies with certification by NCCPA required.
