Job Summary:

As a key member of our infusion services team at Covenant Health, you will play a critical role in the preparation and delivery of chemotherapy medications to patients. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmaceutical operations and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and delivery of chemotherapy medications
  • Perform calculations to accurately prepare and compound chemotherapy medications
  • Ensure accurate and timely inventory management of chemotherapy medications and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for pharmaceutical operations
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to implement quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years experience in the storage, handling, and disposal of chemotherapy drugs or two (2) years experience with State approved certification
  • Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Tennessee
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
