Job Summary

Tuff Shed is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to lead our local Installer program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the store meets all of its metrics for scheduling, costs, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and Onboard new subcontractors in partnership with Tuff Shed's Skilled Trades Recruiter.
  • Manage Subcontractor Certification and ongoing partner management, including Customer First training and subcontractor certification.
  • Resolve Issues and Concerns between the customer, Store, and subcontractor crews.
  • Supervise and Ensure Quality of all kits prior to loading, including review of kit paperwork packets, and supervise the unloading process.
  • Inspect Building Sites and provide feedback to subcontractors and Store management on job performance, punctuality, safety, Tuff Shed construction standards, and customer programs.
  • Conduct Site Visits to meet with customers and review their experiences and any issues that may hinder complete customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure Timely Delivery of missing materials to customer sites.
  • Ensure Compliance of contractors working on Home Depot builds with Tuff Shed standards, including active HD badges.
  • Verify Subcontractor Compliance with licenses, insurance, badging, and contracts, as required.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail or operations environment with an organization recognized for quality products and service.
  • Minimum of two years of construction or manufacturing experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
  • Experience in safety management, working with employees and subcontractors/third-party vendors.
  • Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office and Internet applications required; experience in utilizing Customer Relations Management (CRM) software is highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete Tuff Shed fork lift certification.
  • DOT, OSHA, and employment law knowledge preferred.
