English Language Arts Educator

We are seeking an experienced High School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our team at Soliant Education in Dover, Delaware.
Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching primary subjects that develop skills such as language, reading, spelling, and writing in the English language.
Responsibilities:- Develop Daily Lesson Plans: Instruct students using State and District approved curriculum, ensuring effective material retention through various teaching methods.
- Maintain Classroom Environment: Create a safe and organized learning space by employing effective classroom management techniques.
- Instruct and Assess: Develop and implement assessments to measure student performance, discussing results with parents, administrators, and the Special Education Department when necessary.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties assigned by administration.
- Licenses and Certifications: Active State of Delaware Educators License or a teachers license from another state accepted by Delaware reciprocity, along with a bachelors degree or higher in Education or an endorsement field.
- Teaching Experience: Relevant experience teaching students in a classroom setting.
