Job Title: Business Development Landman

Job Summary:
Permian Resources, LLC is seeking a Business Development Landman to join their team in Midland, TX. This role will be responsible for all aspects of land work within their designated area, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to accomplish goals and objectives within budgetary guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure company drill schedule expectations are met within the asset area with all company disciplines
Perform high-level land functions without direct supervision
Clear title for drilling locations staying ahead of a fast-paced, multi-rig horizontal schedule
Partner with brokers and attorneys in title and curative matters as appropriate
Expert interpreting, negotiating, and preparing Land-related contracts, such as Oil and Gas Leases, Operating Agreements, Farmouts, Term Assignments, and other similar documentation

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited University or College
3+ years of experience as a Landman or similar role
Direct land experience in and knowledge of the Permian Basin (Texas and NM, plus)
Experience in M&As, trades, and divestitures
Demonstrated work experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written
Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance-driven, team-oriented environment
Self-starter/Self-motivator
