Job Description:

We are recruiting a pool of highly motivated and qualified candidates to teach part-time courses for the Adult Basic Education (Spanish GED) program. This position involves developing relevant and progressive curricula, designing and implementing effective learning strategies and environments, delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, advising students, and participating in college service activities at various levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct Adult Basic Education at the college level
  • Develop and plan instructional strategies and alternative delivery methods
  • Participate in in-service meetings and staff development training
  • Assist and advise students with academic matters
  • Maintain competencies as an instructor aligned with the Faculty Quality Assurance System
  • Perform other duties assigned by the President or designee

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in ESL, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Adult Education, or Special Education, or related field
  • Two years of teaching experience in elementary education, secondary education, or adult education
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on workload and qualifications.
