Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manager-In-Training (MIT). As an MIT, you will participate in a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities- Assist in training and quality control of staff
- Learn and perform the job assignments of housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions
- Develop leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision
- Ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met
- Train staff on policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements
- Maintain records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment
- Communicate effectively with client managers, building occupants, and administrators
- Ensure a safe and sanitary environment is maintained at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills with ability to maintain records and complete reports
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
- Must live in the service area
