Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pallet Repair Specialist to join our team in DeKalb, IL. As a key member of our Relogistics Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Compensation

The estimated hourly pay for this position is $17.00/hr. This compensation is competitive and based on industry standards for similar roles in the area.

About the Role

As a Pallet Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing damaged pallets to ensure they meet our high standards for quality and safety. You will work closely with our production team to achieve expected production requirements while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair damaged pallets to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and methods to return damaged pallets to service-ready condition.
  • Communicate directly with shift leads and plant managers to ensure seamless production operations.
  • Maintain accurate production paperwork and adhere to Relogistics Core Values and Safety Standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience safely operating air-driven, electric, and manual woodworking tools.
  • A high school degree or equivalent required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where standardized requirements exist.
