The successful candidate will work closely with the VP of Information Technology & Systems to drive innovation, efficiency, and technological advancements across various business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for the development, configuration, and integration of business applications.
  • Ensure compliance with change control policies and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Provide support for business application incidents and problems.
  • Collaborate with business and IT leadership to manage project and service requests.
  • Contribute to strategic and annual planning processes, including resource allocation and budgeting.
  • Mentor and guide team members, enhancing their technical and project management skills.
  • Oversee project management processes, including regular check-ins and status updates.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals and managing licensing agreements and statements of work.
  • Ensure the security and administration of systems under the business applications team's responsibility.
  • Drive customer service excellence within the team through collaborative partnerships with business and IT leadership.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and maintain budget-to-actual reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in applications management and leadership roles.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems, particularly Infor XA ERP and modules like Financial and Purchasing.
  • Experience with HighJump WMS distribution systems and related functionalities.
  • Familiarity with EDI transactions and integration with third-party solutions such as mobile, eCommerce, and supply chain systems.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and ERP integration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing IT project lifecycles and implementing SDLC, SOD, and change management control processes.
  • Strong vendor management experience in SaaS and cloud-based systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage business leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ERP systems, business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI), and data management processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications or training in APICS, project management, lean principles, or accounting are a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with process mapping, data analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with UPC, GS1 data loads, and other industry-relevant standards.
