Key Responsibilities

As an Advanced Operating Room Technician with Cross Country Nurses in Rutland, Vermont, you will play a critical role in the success of surgical operations. Your duties will include preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and assisting surgeons and nurses during procedures.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Maintaining sterile conditions throughout the operation
  • Assisting with surgical tools and equipment
  • Cleaning the operating room after surgery
  • Transporting patients to and from surgery
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • At least 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • National Certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification

Prior experience with trauma or travel is preferred but not required.
