Job Summary
As a Teppanyaki Server at Marriott International, Inc, you are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests. Your role involves serving food courses and beverages while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and adherence to safety policies.

About the Job
This part-time position is located at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Lahaina, Hawaii. We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing top-notch service. If you have at least one year of related work experience and are able to stand for extended periods of time, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
  • Serving food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Setting tables according to type of event and service standards
  • Answering questions on menu selections
  • Communicating with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • Completing closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
  • Presenting physical and accurate checks to guests and processing payment

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • The ability to lift objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $14.00 per hour. Additionally, we offer health care benefits, retirement benefits, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and wellness benefits.
