About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students. Your expertise in assessing and addressing students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living will be invaluable in developing customized treatment plans that cater to individual needs.
- You will conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness, using this information to create personalized treatment plans that drive student progress and participation in school activities.
Your primary duties will include:
- Collaborating closely with educators and families to support student progress and ensure seamless communication.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes, ensuring timely submission and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans that align with student needs and goals.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Eligibility for or possession of state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Clinical experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
