We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant Trainee to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. As a key member of our White Center Dental Clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

About the Role:

The main function of this position is to complete the dental assistant training program and assist with the delivery of dental services to clients. To be successful in this role, you must be able to commit to finishing the CA Training Program within the scheduled program length and agree to the mutual agreement of service post completion of training. You will also be required to work on Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists and hygienists with dental procedures, including preparing patients for treatment and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in dental assisting.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care and achieve outstanding results.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • You must participate in the Dental Assistant Program and register with the WA State Department of Health.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications are necessary.
  • Excellent customer service skills and bilingual abilities (English and Spanish) are preferred but not mandatory.
