Job Summary:

This EVS Technician I position at San Antonio Regional Hospital is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, families, and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital, including dusting, mopping, linen collection, waste removal and disposal, bathroom cleaning, and cleaning of common areas, offices, patient rooms or specialized areas as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the hospital
  • Collecting and disposing of linen, waste and sharps that may be contaminated with blood and other bodily fluids
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Assisting with special events and projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and speak sufficient English to perform the requirements of the position
  • Industrial, healthcare, or three years of customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and understand the importance of role in maintaining cleanliness to prevent infections and hospital aquired illnesses of patients, families, employees, physicians and others

Pay Range: $21.00 - $29.12
