About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury, adhering to protocols established by radiologists.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients accurately, selecting anatomic and technical parameters as needed.
  • Contrast Media Administration: Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Radiation Safety: Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Department Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) and Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) required. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography and Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
  • Experience: CT experience preferred.
